Why does the Clever Pool inverter start at Max speed every time it is switched on?

The Clever Pool inverter starts at the maximum speed every time it's switched on to prime the system effectively. Priming ensures that the pump is fully filled with water and all the air is expelled from the system before it begins normal operation. Starting at maximum speed provides the necessary flow and pressure to fill the pump and any associated pipework with water, ensuring that all the air is pushed out. This prevents any air locks or cavitation which could damage the pump or reduce its efficiency. After the priming process, which usually takes one to two minutes, the inverter will switch to the selected speed, allowing for energy-efficient operation at the desired flow rate. This startup sequence helps prolong the life of the pump and ensures consistent, efficient performance.
