False alarms with the IMMERSTAR device are often attributed to improper placement. It is advisable to first verify the unit's location. Ensure that the IMMERSTAR is installed at least one metre away from any pool features such as recirculation ducts, skimmers, waterfalls, or equipment that produces noise. Adjustments to the unit's sensitivity can be made using the winterizing extension.
