Plastica Pressure Testing Kit

The Plastica swimming pool pressure testing kit is an accumulation of high quality components for testing 1.5in to 2in domestic swimming pool plumbing. The test manifold has been designed with simplicity and reliability in mind. It hooks up to a standard garden hose and is also provided with an inline 20psi pressure regulator. We recommend this is always used to prevent accidental damage to the filtration and pipework. (We would suggest testing is carried out at 15psi)

For safety, the kit has been developed to test with water only, and any air should be purged from the system before pressure testing begins. (Water has far less stored energy than compressed air)

The 38mm/1.5in and 50mm/2in hollow bungs are designed to be hooked directly to the testing manifold for simplicity, and should prevent the need to cut into pipework.

Also included in the kit is a selection of solid bungs and threaded bungs. These can either be used for testing purposes or to leave on site if a leak is found, to help prevent excessive water loss. These bungs can be re-purchased from us and are more cost effective than replacing hollow bungs.
